Ferreira & Koach traces its origins back to 1975 when both principals, Peter Ferreira and Edward Koach, started their career with the Ministry of Immigration. Peter and Edward worked their way to senior positions in the Ministry. The two partners' varied experience and commitment have made them, one of the most respected and successful Immigration Consulting firms in Canada.
In the same year of the opening of the firm, 1986, branch offices opened in Shanghai, China and Hong Kong. Over the years we have served thousands of clients who are now successfully settled in Canada and Australia. Peter and Edward were pioneers to form the 'Organization of Professional Immigration Consultants' (OPIC), which regulates the practice of Immigration Consultants. Peter Ferreira has been elected Director for several terms and both have held honorary positions in OPIC (Organization of Professional Immigration Consultants).

In 1988 we started consulting many immigrants from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and the Middle East. Based on the high demand from the Middle East area, we formed a Regional office in Bahrain in 1996 and representatives were appointed in Mumbai & Bangalore. Ferreira & Koach started consulting many clients from the Middle East in 1988. Initially this clientele was from the G.C.C. Countries that comprise of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, U.A.E & Oman but soon we started receiving enquiries from other Middle East countries including Lebanon, Syria, Jordan & Egypt.
The Middle East Regional Office was established in Bahrain in the year 1996 when Mr. S. K. Gala, a Technocrat & Human Resource Specialist joined Ferreira & Koach as a “Regional General Manager”.
Since then the Middle East Office has grown at a very fast track and thousands of clients have benefited from our immigration consulting services.
Mr. Gala's experience includes a lifetime of experience in human resource development. Being a Mechanical Engineer by profession and having headed Engineering Department at Ministry of Works, in Bahrain he has strong credentials in training hundreds of professional in various fields of industry and business. This knowledge of Human Resource Development has been critical in helping build strong and professionally sound skill-based immigration cases for Canada and Australia.
Mr. Gala enjoys educating interested applicants, and performs seminars in Bahrain, Riyadh, Al Khobar & Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Doha Qatar. Over time, these seminars have become increasingly popular forum to learn about Canada and Australia, understand the immigration process, and get a chance to ask questions before deciding whether immigration is an option they want to pursue.
